I am a professor of Biology at the Faculty of Science, Charles University, Prague. While not giving lectures or examining students, I focus on Evolutionary Biology, Evolutionary Parasitology, and Evolutionary Psychology, as well as on searching for lost objects in the chaos on my desc. My greatest hobby is my work (which is, I must admit, a bit tiresome for me and people around me). I like walks in nature (the forests at the outskirts of Prague are nice, Balkan peninsula much nicer) and taking pictures of everything I happen to get in front of my camera. As a scientist, I have discovered several new phenomena – thanks to my funny memory, some of them even repeatedly.
